Abbey and Zach had the most wonderful wedding plan. They started off getting married with the gorgeous view of the rocks in the background at The Chapel at Red Rocks. From there we spent time in the park, headed to Bear Creek Lake Park and then to Red Rocks Country Club. Anytime you have a day in such beautiful places you know it is going to be great. What really pushed it over the top was the beauty of Abbey and Zach. Sure, it is obvious that they are beautiful people on the outside, I mean those eyes- Abbey- nobody can beat them, but what really shined was their relationship and beauty together. Zach makes Abbey laugh and smile this bright giant endearing smile. The way she looks at him makes other couples want to swoon. It is obvious that they are great together.
It is so obvious that it should have been known early on as Abbey and Zach grew up together from a very young age. Zach was Abbey’s older brother Lee’s best friend. As her maid of honor told us during her speech, Abbey always had her eye on Zach, but when they got together everyone was a little bit suprised. Especially Lee, being the protective older brother. But what a match made in heaven. I couldn’t help but think, what would be better than your best friend marrying your sibling and being able to truly call them family. These too families have been sharing that feeling for many years and it was so awesome to see it come official as they joined families.
Beyond the wonderful speeches by both the best man and maid of honor, my sentimental highlight of the day was when Abbey saw her dad for the first time. He promised he wouldn’t cry, but her beauty and the kindness of her gift to him brought him to tears. Good thing the gift was a handkerchief. Once again, everything was planned out perfectly.
It ended with the most unique, interesting and fun thing I have ever seen. It was the Pennsylvania Bridal Dance. Abbey stood in the middle of the dance floor, while everyone paid money, took a shot and danced with the bride. Then the line would filter into a circle dancing around her and her new dance partner. At the end Zach was supposed to whisk her away. Not with a little trouble though. They really want him to fight for his bride. And he did, oh boy did he! In the end he won out, picked Abbey up and rescued her. He already had her heart but now she has the Solich last name.
I am so happy for the two of them. May your families continue to grow closer and your love last forever! Congratulations Abbey + Zach!
