I hope u heard me when I asked
u that night 2 be my wife
Not for this year or next
But mine for all your life
2 accept me when I sin
and understand me when I fail
Not 2 mention standing the rain
which comes down as hard as hail
I am not the best of men
My faults could scare the night
But my heart is always pure 2 my wife 4 life
-Tupac Shakur “Wife 4 Life”
During the ceremony one of Sara and Adam‘s friends read Tupac’s lyrics with such beautiful conviction that they truly sounded like sincere vows. I am amazed that this was the first time I heard someone recite them, so good, so appropriate…so funny! Adam and Sara are just so great to be around and their love for each other is so incredibly tangible. The way that they both look at each other gives you that “oh wow, that is what love looks like” moments. The gravity of the heart of the whole day was evident. I loved that Sara shared a shooter of Gentleman’s Jack with her dad right before they walked down the aisle and the look on Adam’s face when he first saw her was priceless.
After seeing the reception space, I heard one of the bridesmaids say “Sara, it looks just like a Pinterest wedding!” That is a huge compliment these days, and it was true. The florals, cake, and table decor were Pinterest-perfect. I am sure that many of Sara and Adam’s photos will make it on to other bride’s wedding boards! I am in love wit the greenery that tied everything together so beautifully, and it was the first time that I had seen a cake decorated that way. Gorgeous! The homemade Limoncello favor in honor of Monterosso al Mare, Italy where they got engaged was the perfect touch. (And DELICIOUS!)
Ali and I are so incredibly honored to have been able to spend such a special day with you, your wedding party, and all of your family. Everyone was so wonderful to be around and we will never forget this day – thank you! – Jo
Lionscrest Manor is one of my favorite venues with all of the minimalistic architecture and clean walls, it really sets a pretty blank canvas for every couple to make it their own. The staff there is also amongst the most accommodating and nicest to work with. A special thanks to Shannon who made the day flow so well and to all of the other awesome vendors who made the day so perfect:
