Alex and Lee are married! Boy did they do it in style. As I walked into Mile High Station I was ecstatic to see Alex getting her makeup done in the brightly lit balcony space. Mile High Station is one of those dream venues that has everything you want. Glamour, elegance and texture and a large space to party. You add an incredible couple and all their favorite people and you basically have a match made in heaven.
While we were getting ready in style, Lee and his friends were at his brothers house having a grand time. They were hanging out in the yard, smashing pumpkins, lighting fireworks and having an all around good time. Don’t let that all fool you though, when it was time to get dress, these boys had class like no other. I loved Lee’s off white tuxedo jacket and the boys in classic black.
The girls, however, out did the boys with elegant floor length gowns of gold and sequence. What girl doesn’t want to wear that? Alex’s dress was as unique and elegant as she is. I loved that it had the overlay skirt so the light would shine through it and you could see the gorgeous lace underneath.
As soon as we went outside for pictures, the light followed the theme of the wedding and fell into a golden hue that gently lit everyone. It is my favorite kind of light and Lee & Alex looked gorgeous as the snuggled in it. *Swoon*
The rest of the party didn’t disappoint, with a beautiful ceremony by Alex’s maid of honor’s husband that made you laugh and cry at the same time and a series of toasts that did the same. It finished off with a crazy dance party and, of course, a photo booth.
I am so happy for these too. They have it all. They are so sweet and caring. They look at each other with passion and understanding. Their love out shined all the gold in the room. I am so excited to call them Mr. & Mrs. DeRose.
Congrats a million times over. Thank you for sharing your great love story!
Thanks to all the awesome vendors!
