Brittany and Matt are on a crazy whirlwind of a ride right now and I’m so glad they somehow found the time for their engagement shoot. They graduated from medical school this spring in Florida and were in the middle of traveling to 30-40 cities each interviewing for their residency in medicine. They were making a pit stop in Colorado to finish up some wedding details (and do their engagement shoot) and then they were heading on a pre-wedding honeymoon for a month (it was the only way they could have one with residency starting right after their wedding). Last but not least is their wedding in May at Pines at Genesee, which I can’t wait to photograph!
We had a great time exploring 17 Mile House in Parker together. It has so many great backdrops that I really had a great shot every time I turned around. My favorite though was definitely the last ones in the woods near Cherry Creek with the sun setting perfectly behind them. At the end Brittany gave Matt a huge hug (the lead photo I used for the shoot) and the big smiles on their faces said everything. It was a pleasure working with them and I look forward to seeing them again in a month! – McCory
