The best love stories start 39,000 feet above the earths surface. At least that’s where Brooke and Adam’s love story began. They met working as flight attendants for Southwest Airlines. With busy lives flying all over the place, I am so grateful that I was able to spend time with them leading up to their wedding. From the moment we first met at their engagement shoot I knew their love was true. I grew more and more excited for their big day as February 25th quickly approached. When Ryan, Jen and I arrived to Blackstone Country Club we were smitten with the beautiful venue! Luckily we planned enough time to check the entire place out before starting with photos. The country club was truly a hidden gem, with it being my first time there I was so excited at all the possibilities on site. Arriving to the girls’ room – Brooke was calm, collected and as always very cool. Excitement was in the air. Especially when it was time to see her groom for the first time!
As I approached Adam to let him know he was just seconds away from seeing his bride I could tell this was easily the happiest day of his life. I always get the excited butterflies for this part. As their wedding party approached, the day became even more real. Everyone was genuinely excited for this couple. Everyone loved both Brooke and Adam deeply as individuals and as a couple. Getting their wedding party to relax, and have fun in the cold was actually easy at this point. They seemed to forget how cold the air was when they were around their friends.
Just as the sun began to set the ceremony began. Blackstone has a very intimate space for indoor ceremonies. It was cozy and beautiful. Watching Brooke and Adam commit to spending the rest of their lives together was simply wonderful. It could be that I just love the two of them so much, because of their fantastic personalities and sweet family and friends – but it was definitely a ceremony I will never forget! Brooke and Adam, thank you so much for allowing myself to be such an important part of your wedding day! -Allie
