Surrounded by a beautiful backdrop of Colorado’s mountains, Janna & Ben’s great attitudes and obvious love for each other survived a rainy ceremony and drove the clouds away at Lower Lake Ranch.
As they were getting ready for the ceremony with their family and friends, they were obviously excited and looking forward to the rest of the day. Their first look was a very special moment as they met on a bridge over a beautiful creek. They joy in both Janna & Ben when they saw each other for the first time was infectious. Their four cute flower girls and three handsome ring bearers joined them for the wedding party photos. Whenever you have that many cute kids in your wedding, it makes the photographer’s job very easy!
After that they made their first attempt for the ceremony. But even with having the ceremony delayed by intermittent rain showers, they both kept their heads up and didn’t let a few raindrops effect their wedding day. As the rain started coming down, their guests stayed huddled under umbrellas and surrounding trees to watch them join together in marriage.
Their reception was wonderfully decorated and I loved how they did their table numbers. Each table number had a card that showed both of them at that age. It was fun for guests to go from table to table and be able to see them both grow up in photos. After a delicious dinner cooked by Lower Lake Ranch they had some heartfelt toasts given. Janna’s dad had prepared a video of home movies that started with Janna’s birth and ended with her engagement. Their were many happy tears shed and laughs as they enjoyed watching the memories.
The sun came out soon after and we were able to walk around the beautiful grounds and take some amazing photos. They then danced the night away and left to their friends and family cheering and blowing bubbles as they walked off into their future together. – McCory
