Kayla and Jarrett gave their friends and family another reason to celebrate over Thanksgiving weekend – their wedding! It was the perfect reason to get everyone together in one place for extra time with loved ones. Their celebration began with twenty three of their closest friends. That’s right. Twenty three bridesmaids and groomsmen! They were one fantastic bunch. Everyone was all smiles as we started their day off with photos around the beautiful Mile High Station. The glittery dresses were the perfect addition to the grungy underpasses and brick nearby. The guys sported vests with dark denim cuffed at the ankle. Although the real stars of the show were Kayla and Jarrett.
After we wrapped up wedding party photos they were more than ready to hop in my car for a quick adventure before saying I do. As we headed a few blocks away I could tell this couple was totally relaxed and ready for the night ahead of them. They knew things were being taken care of at the venue, that their friends were having a blast and that soon they would be husband and wife. Nothing could go wrong.
Their ceremony started at six pm sharp. They used the upstairs space of Mile High Station for their ceremony – which was different from any other wedding I have photographed here. Family and friends watched as they vowed to love each other for the rest of their lives. Once they sealed the deal everyone headed to the lower level to enjoy a delicious meal catered by Biscuits and Berries.
Just when I thought this wedding couldn’t get any better – dances started. Kayla and Jarrett twirled around on the beautiful dance floor at the center of the room. There isn’t much better than watching a newly married couple under the beautiful industrial chandeliers at MHS. I am so glad I was a part of this special day as Kayla and Jarrett became husband and wife! -Allie
