Kristin and Matt had a fun, carefree and beautiful wedding at Mile High Station this weekend. I know I was going to have fun at their wedding when Matt was telling me the story of how he met Kristin and later proposed. They met at Red Rocks at an OAR concert with friends. Later on in their relationship when Matt was ready to pop this question, he arranged an airplane ride with her. They flew over Red Rocks’ parking lot where he arranged to have his friends and family spell out his proposal with giant signs. Now that’s a proposal!
Kristin and her ladies continued to prove how fun they were when after doing the pretty and formal pics, I suggested that we do a Bridesmaids style shot in front of the pawn shop across the street. The exclaimed, “Absolutely!” It continued with DPD’s finest rolled by and just had to stop and inquire about the commotion. He happily turned on his rollers and blared his siren as the girls cheered out. Pretty cool!
They featured their passion for music by having a live band perform at their wedding. The dance floor was bumping all night with their friends and family. Thanks Kristin and Matt for being so present throughout the day and such a joy to photograph! –Ryan
