Kylee and Josh are married! Hooray! These two stole my heart when I first met them and sealed the deal during their engagement session. Oh wait, I am supposed to be talking about how they stole each other’s hearts. Really, it is just a testiment to how wonderful these two people are. They are happy and sweet and easy going and I am so glad they found each other. I am also so glad they found me so I got to be a part of their wedding.
When I walked in the getting ready room at the Grand Hyatt, Kylee was as cool as a cucumer. She was radiating joy and didn’t care about much going on around her. This included the rain outside. She was just happy she got to marry the man of her dreams and knew it was all going to work out. Josh was the same way. Allie came back from photographing the guys getting ready and just said “I love these guys.” She had spent 1 hour with them and already saw how specail they were. It was starting out to be a wonderful day.
The ceremony was dreamy, as it always is, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. It continued to rain through the ceremony but like Kylee knew, the sky opened up right afterwards and we had clear blue for photos. We headed to Bryon White to accent Kylee’s classic beauty with the classic beauty of the architecture. I love how clean and intimate the space is there. It feels like they are the only people in the world. Maybe it is the towering columns maybe it is the feeling of being newly married. I don’t know.
All in all it was the perfect day. Everything was just as it should be. It ended with an epic dance party. It was hard not to want to jump in the middle and join in. The whole wedding was on the dance floor! Now that is the way you celebrate the marriage of two wonderful people!
Congrats Kylee and Josh, you’re the real deal and I am so happy for you!
