Sometimes, love comes quickly and unexpectedly. As Lauren said in her vows, she didn’t imagine this time last year that she would be getting married. However, it came swiftly and perfectly. Lauren and Tucker’s love was sent from above. Their love for God is reflected in everything they do so it was only right that this match was Heaven sent.
The day went off without a hitch. It was so fun to be in a house full of Lauren’s bridesmaids and closest friends. There was something going on everywhere you looked. All the girls were helping each other get hair and make-up done, they were making sure Lauren was fed and watered, and getting all the last minute details into place. This excitement was kept up as soon as we arrived at Lionsgate Event Center. I think one of the biggest things themes throughout the day was the support group that Lauren and Tucker have. From people they have grown up with to those they met a little while ago, everyone talked and shared like lifelong bonds. I loved seeing Lauren share her moments with her best friends and family. I am pretty sure everyone there was a friend, from the catering staff, to the officiant, to Katie, the bridesmaid/wedding planner, to the photographers… 🙂 Everyone pitched in to make the day awesome.
Tucker was also all smiles. He has the most intense “GQ” look but I couldn’t get anything but a smile or a laugh out of him that day. You could tell that he had been dreaming about Lauren all his life. She was a blessing to him and he was so excited about all that was in store for them. I am pretty sure it was the best grooms reaction as she walked down the aisle. His face just read “I can’t believe that I get to spend the rest of my life with her. ” My favorite moments where after the ceremony when we took Tucker and Lauren to a private spot with a porch swing. I could just imagine them sitting there in 40 years, looking back on how incredible their love has been.
I will end with a quick highlight reel:
– Her mom and ‘auntie’ putting on her dress
– When Tucker knocked on her window light Romeo and Juliet for a quick prayer before the ceremony
– Tucker’s face as she walked down the aisle
– The first thing the did as husband and wife was to worship with song , and then a great big kiss
– TACOS! Enough said
– Tucker’s surprise song to Lauren during the reception
– Their faces when they called each other husband/wife for the first time.
Thank you Tucker and Lauren for letting us be a part of your awesome day! Congratulations, you are going to have an amazing adventure together!
