It has been a great year for Mike! His Cubs won the series and he said yes to the love of his life, Lindsey. Lindsey and Mike wanted a casual mountain experience to celebrate with their friends and family. Silverthorne Pavilion proved to be the perfect venue for that! Given the time of year, they weren’t sure if they’d have a few feet of snow on the ground or not. Though they weren’t opposed to some snow on the ground, I think they’d agree that they were happy to have a nice mild day which made it easy to navigate the woods for bridal party photos.
Lindsey and Mike proved the power of doing a first look. They loved the idea of getting the nervous jitters out of the way before the ceremony. Instead they had an intimate moment on the iconic bridge near the pavilion. It melted mine and Katie’s hearts to see Mike turn and see Lindsey for the first time. Weight lifted and we could see how much more present they were able to be once ceremony came around.
Thanks to Matt at Amore Entertainment, they had a grand reception and danced like no one was watching. Thanks Lindsey and Mike for welcoming us into your lives and sharing your big day with us! –Ryan
