We can’t get over how warm this November has been! Liz and Beau’s wedding at Sanctuary felt more like a September wedding with the bright Colorado sun keeping us warm on the course. After Liz walked the long path down to see Beau for the first time, we joined up with their jubilant wedding party. It’s always fun to meet the friends of our couples who have supported them individually. Seeing them come together to now support them together is always a heartwarming experience. I knew just how dedicated one of Beau’s groomsmen was when he showed me his freshly shaved head with a “B.M.” carved into it (standing for Best Man)! That was a first for sure.
Jo and I had never been to Sanctuary with the famous waterfall turned off before. I enjoyed the challenge of finding new and unique locations on the gorgeous grounds. My absolute favorite was when we went hiking down to a more raw part of the course where we tracked into the burnt autumn brush. The low winter sun crept through the scrub oak and made for the prettiest backdrop to watch these two nuzzle in with each other after having just said “I do!”
The rest of the night was a true party which ended in sparklers! Check out the fun we had with them! Thanks Liz and Beau for having Jo and I be a part of your big day! –Ryan
