There is so much AWESOME that went down at this wedding that it is impossible to pick which thing was the most awesome of them all! Between the dance parties, the adventure in RiNo with the wedding party, and the excitement of the family, there wasn’t a part of the day that was like just “meh” you know? I have been looking forward to Mic and Tina’s wedding for so long because every since we first met, there has been a very clear plan for how epic their wedding was going to be. Guys – they HAND MADE all ONE THOUSAND paper cranes that hung as the backdrop to the reception. It is bad luck if they don’t do them all themselves, so it’s a good thing that they saved all of their receipts and special papers to turn into the little birds!
It was so cool the way that the day started off more formal with their ceremony in the AMAZING Holy Ghost Catholic Church. They had the two most incredible singers you ever heard (I think you ladies should do that for a living or something 😉 ). We had a little time in the church and around to get some classic city backdrops before heading into my favorite part of town – RiNo! We started out at Ratio Beerworks for a little break and some fun pictures inside of the brewery. We then went on a journey, that felt literally pretty “epic” because the sun decided to come out just then, around the neighborhood. Everyone was definitely feeling the heat, but once they refreshed in the limo, the party was going again for round two at Mile High Station.
It was a blast to get to work with their video team, Spinning Leaf, that they brought in from Texas. They did a same day edit that blew everyone’s minds! I know how hard it is to pull off my day-of slideshow, but they edited a complete preview of the whole weekend, with audio!, that played at the reception. And the food – y’alllllllllll – that may have just taken first for favorite wedding food. The pictures will say it all about how fun the party was, but dang, I thought I was a fun wedding guest until I met these people! Mic and Tina – Brian and I enjoyed every minute with you guys! It meant so much to us when you said that we were no longer your crew, but we were family now. Seriously – I hope so! I look forward to watching what comes next for you two. Congrats!
