Sam and Teresa tied the knot this past Saturday in Teresa’s childhood church. The couple met during their high school years, dated through college and ended up moving to Denver together. As long as I have known this couple they have been one of the nicest, most sarcastic and down to earth couples and I have known them for a long time!
Their wedding started off with rain in the forecast, and unlike Denver – when it rains in Worthington, Iowa it really rains. Seeing this forecast early in the week made me nervous, but Sam and Teresa were not phased by the rain. They went on with their day, enjoying every part of it. Teresa purchased umbrellas in hopes of that changing her luck – and as soon as their ceremony ended, so did the rain.
With a slight chill in the air, and a few puddles to avoid the entire wedding party rallied for photos before heading to the reception. There were smiles, laughs and one spilled drink – Tessa! đŸ˜‰
As the night went on, it was so clear that this couple is truly loved and supported by so many. I have no doubts that these two will live happily ever after. Especially when mountain biking and wine slushies are involved! Congratulations guys, and thank you for letting me be such an important part of your wedding! -Allie
