Sarah and Nick’s love is easy. In every sense of the word, they are easy going, easy to be around, easy on the eyes, easy peasey lemon squeezy. When I first saw Sarah traipsing around Bethany Lutheran Church with her two sisters in their cute little rompers and giant smiles on their faces I knew it was going to be an awesome day. From there, it only got better as the sun came and went all at perfect times, their family and friends were constantly smiling and Sarah and Nick were enjoying their day.
I already knew the wedding day would be great with the ceremony at Bethany Lutheran Church with it’s beautiful high ceilings, blue stain glass background and wall of windows. From there got to go to the Cable Center for the reception. I love the full glass walls where you can watch the sunset while enjoying dinner and dance away the night on the super cool floor.
My favorite part was all the stories being told throughout the day. Whether out loud or silent stories wrapped in visuals every where you looked there was something going on. The love between Sarah and her sisters was one of my favorites. It was apparent that they were best friends. Sharing everything from secrets to laughs. I loved how Megan & Allison walked Sarah out to see Nick for the first time and watched silently as they gave their sister away. Sarah’s mom and dad were no exception to this. Throwing constant smiles Sarah and Nicks way and exchanging soft adoring glances. It was so fun to hear in the speeches how much Sarah’s dad loved Nick (even if he tried to hide it). Nick’s family was no exception. His mom lit up any time she was near him and all his groomsmen ranted and raved about growing up with the McMordie family. Everyone was so close nobody missed a joke or sat on the sidelines.
I am so happy for Sarah and Nick to spend forever together. With the support of their friends and family they will truck on through anything. Though, I can’t imagine they will have too many hard times between them. They are just too easy.
