Stefanie and Jon picked the perfect fall day. The weather was warm. The trees were colorful. The clouds were light. Everything else was falling into place. As soon as I saw Stefanie, I knew it was going to be a good day. She was calm as a cucumber. Her smile was beaming and her soon to be sister in laws and sister were so excited to be by her side.
Jon felt the same way. The boys were laughing up a storm as they got ready. They are a good bunch of guys. You could tell between both Stefanie and Jon’s wedding party that these were people that would stick with them through thick and thin and everything in between. Today was a day they were all excited to celebrate.
I love Jon and Stefanie’s story. They dated a little bit in high school. Nothing serious, just little crushes. Later Stefanie had the urge to look Jon up on Facebook. She just wanted to say hi and see what he was up to. It turns out that he had been thinking about her too. They hit it off immediately and fell into a love that might have sparked in the past but really needed the time for a flame to burst. The flame was burning bright now. You could see it on both of their faces as they looked at each other. The way that Jon could make Stefanie laugh was adorable. She melted away when he was near. You could tell that he only had eyes for her too. It was hard to find him not locked on her.
As I showed them some of their photos the day of the wedding Jon said “Stefanie can not take a bad photo. Didn’t I marry the most beautiful woman?” I had to agree.
Congratulations Stefanie and Jon. I am so glad you found each other again!
