Stella and Vince are the most relaxed couple I have ever met. I met them for the first time about two months before their wedding. We planned their engagement session in the blink of an eye. They warmed up to the camera so quick at that session. Before I knew it I felt like we had been friends forever, and I wasn’t holding an intimidating camera in front of them. I was so impressed with how cool they were. I mean, check them out. I can’t even try to look that cool.
I anxiously waited for their wedding day to get here. I was super excited because it was going to be my first daytime wedding of the season. There’s just something wonderful about waking up with the sun to photograph someones special day. Sure, I needed a red bull to wake up but once we arrived at Arrowhead I couldn’t shake the excitement. Dj Guy was one of the first vendors on the scene. They are seriously so wonderful to work with, I couldn’t wait for the party to start.
First, we got Stella and Vince to their first look. Shortly after that their entire wedding party joined in the fun. I was able to get them to hike a little, and it was so worth it! Everyone was so attentive and easy to work with. I couldn’t believe we wrapped photos up just in time for the ceremony. Once the ceremony started, I don’t think there was a dry eye in sight. It was so clear that these two love each other beyond words. It’s always a humbling experience to be able to photograph a couple so in love.
After the ceremony we were able to take a few golf carts out to the infamous Signature Hole and spend some time with the newlyweds. They were so content, so excited for the rest of the day and so sweet together. It was perfect. Stella and Vince – thank you so much for including me in your special day. -Allie
