We are so excited to launch our monthly blogs featuring one of our lovely real brides wearing a gown from The Bridal Collection! TBC is one of our favorite Colorado bridal boutiques, and we noticed that we had so many of our brides choosing their dresses that we had plenty of content to show off these amazing designs.
So meet Lindsay, a real bride photographed by Jo at Timber Ridge Lodge last summer in Keystone. She wore a stunning Martina Liana gown, (style #541), paired with the ethereal Toni Federici “Embrace” veil. We love the way she dressed it up with the hand-beaded crystal Tori sash. “This modified fit-and-flair vintage lace wedding dress from the Martina Liana collection features heirloom quality Chantilly Lace and Tulle that transforms seamlessly into a flowing Silk Chiffon skirt. A back zipper hidden under lace buttons adds timeless appeal, and delicate details give this vintage lace wedding dress a romantic flair.” (Martina Liana Website) Seriously the perfect touch! It couldn’t have been fit to her better – I would believe you if you told me that she had it designed specifically for her. The veil was so fun to photograph, watching it softly blow in the wind. It was also really fun to see Lindsay transition to the colorful flower crown made by Ladybird Poppy for the reception – definitely easier to dance in!
What I love the most about Lindsay in this gown is that she proved that you can look elegant and amazing all day without being too concerned about getting your dress dirty. Don’t get me wrong – I would never want a bride to intentionally do anything that would mess up her dress, but as you will see in these photos, Lindsay was more focused on the important moments of the day instead of if the ground was dirty. Fact: if you are having a mountain wedding, the ground is going to be dirty. But here is a pro wedding day tip – embrace it! We always say that if your dress doesn’t gather a little dust then you didn’t really wear it. And despite the dirt, rain, gondola rides – everything that you might expect would make her look less than pristine walking down the aisle, I guarantee you neither the guests nor anyone looking at the photos saw any evidence of those adventures. My point is that gowns are designed well, and the underside is expected to get a little dirty. We promise, no one will be able to tell 🙂 So get in touch with The Bridal Collection if you love this dress, or if you are just looking for the salon that will help match you with the perfect gown for your day. And stay tuned to our blog for more featured brides!
